I am LaTronda Latrice!

Dr. LaTronda Latrice is known for her ability to blend her academic knowledge with lived experience, to create restorative spaces where individuals can confront grief, reclaim their identity, and move forward with clarity and purpose.

Her professional journey was dedicated to her deep commitment to service, particularly to the military and veteran community. Inspired by the emotional and relational impact of combat, Dr. LaTronda earned her master’s degree in counseling psychology and went on to complete doctoral-level training focused on military families and culture and Christian counseling. Her work has supported justice-involved veterans, families in transition, and individuals navigating complex trauma and loss. In recognition of her impact, she received the Service to Veterans Award presented by Texas Governor Greg Abbott and was honored as Philanthropy Woman of the Year by Texas Women in Business.

What sets Dr. LaTronda apart is the authenticity behind her message. Following the end of her 21-year marriage, she experienced firsthand the depth of relational grief, the kind that often goes unseen and unacknowledged. That season became the catalyst for her signature work and her book, The Grief That No One Talks About When Relationships End. Through her voice, she is expanding the conversation around grief, helping others understand that loss is not limited to death, but includes the loss of relationships, identity, and envisioned futures. The highly anticipated guide to navigating relational grief is officially released and available for purchase now. Purchase here

In addition to her speaking and coaching, Dr. LaTronda serves as an adjunct professor, working closely with psychology students and equipping them to serve future clients through a heart-centered, trauma-informed approach to care. Her work integrates evidence-based practices, faith-informed principles, and practical strategies for real-life healing.

On stage, Dr. LaTronda is known for her powerful storytelling, grounded wisdom, and ability to connect deeply with high-capacity individuals who are used to pouring into others but are now learning to pour back into themselves. She speaks on topics such as “How to love you more”, relational grief, identity reconstruction, emotional wellness, and overcoming imposter syndrome.

Dr. LaTronda Latrice’s message is both honest and hopeful: healing is not about avoiding grief, it is about learning how to live with it. She doesn’t just speak about healing; she embodies it, showing others how to rise, rebuild, and live again. Grief may change your story, but it does not cancel your purpose.
